Lip Service

I go through phases of being obsessed with one theme or another. Currently it is anything having to do with lips and lipstick. I never wear lipstick but that hasn't deterred me from falling in love with this fun and feminine motif.

Peep some of my current obsessions below:

Sandals, September, San Francisco

So San Francisco has the weirdest weather ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes it is annoying, but this week it was awesome because it was HOT! This lingering summer heat, through my bday month of September is one of the reasons I fell in love with San Fran and why I am still wearing sandals vs. jumping into some of the yummy boot styles out for fall.

Taking advantage of the warmer weather I wore these nude leather Pierre Hardy for Gap wedges today. I love the neutral color and the added height courtesy of the wedge. I have the same style in denim as well. To top it all off I purchased them last night for a cool $15 bucks vs.the original price of $110. Can we say SCORE!

Damn I love a good sale.

Pierre Hardy continues to collaborate with Gap for the fall. Updates to come very soon!

Purple Reign at the Opera

Purple (my favorite color) is always in style for me!

An amazing friend gave me and my boo tickets for box seats to last night's performance of The Marriage of Figaro at the San Francisco Opera, so I took the opportunity to pull out one of my prized pair of shoes...

- a lovely pair of purple Christian Louboutins!

I splurged on these lovelies a couple years ago at net-a-porter, but rarely wear them because they are little DIVA for my daily life ( i.e. Starbucks runs, sitting at my desk at work, home watching tv, or hours in the dance studio wearing sweats).

Luckily, the opera is the perfect place to pull out such show stopping footwear and they received rave reviews!

My boo also got in on the purple action with these amazing Cole Haan  oxfords in Dark Aubergine.

I will definitely be borrowing these in the near future!!!!

Like Burger King Have it your Way!- Jeff Silverman Made-to-Order Shoes:

The coveted for Jeff Silverman

OMG! I think the fashion gods may have read my mind. At JeffSilverman.com the masses get to be their own designer and customize shoes and handbags to their liking.  I could muse on and on about how dope I think this is, but instead here is the scoop from the horses mouth. According to the website the process goes a little something like this:

Have you ever wanted to design your own shoes or handbags?
Have you known exactly what you were looking for, but couldn't find it anywhere?
Are you tired of people telling you what's fashionable, and want to just decide for yourself?
Welcome. You should feel right at home here.
We can create almost anything you want. Once you submit your instructions (via email, Photoshop image or any other means you prefer), we'll provide high-resolution photographs from six different angles to make sure it's exactly what you want. No more than three weeks later, the shoes will arrive on your doorstep. Sound too easy?

Umm.............. can I say awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I have been on a search for the perfect black handbag for like a year now. I think I might test this out and see if it is really as awesome as it seems! More to come.........

Fashion Night Out Las Vegas

I was kinda bummed that I didn't make it to NY for  Fashion Night Out (FNO) this year, but I was delighted to find out that while I was on vaca in Vegas they would be hosting FNO events of their own.

At Manolo Blahnik  (Wynn Hotel) guest were treated to complimentary glasses of champagne and mini cupcakes with chocolate heels on top. How cute!
