I think the question should really be what is not in my suitcase or purse rather. I seem to have a good amount of my life swimming around in there. The multitude of zipper compartments in this bag ensures that I have a place for any and everything I need for almost all situations. Now for the contents:

Here comes the rain again....

It officially feels like fall in San Francisco. The wind and rain have returned, but I am not complaining because it gave me an excuse to wear my new asymmetrical rain coat. I loved this jacket so much when I saw it that I bought the same style in two colors! Good thing it rains a lot in SF.

Casual Fridays

Kept it comfy and casual today while running errands for the store in some grey knit pants from H&M and tissue tee from Gap. I've been wearing my new J Crew jacket non-stop. It is the perfect weight for the unpredictable bay area summer weather and I I love the unique color.

My obsession with the J Crew lookbook continues for fall. I am particularly fond of the monochrome sweater and skirts looks, the cute outerwear, and the way they use strategic pops of color and print to bring each look to life. I've posted my faves below.

The J Crew spring 2011 Lookbook is killing it. Every season the fine folks at the Crew demonstrate how to make the most of your wardrobe by mixing and matching: casual with dressy, daytime with nighttime, bling with sweats. You name it and they can make it work- I mean WORK!

I am inspired to go dig in my black hole of a closet to see what pieces I already own to help recreate similar looks. I am also planning (budget permitting) to add some of their signature pieces to the rotation. The khaki vest and cream studded sweater are Shutting.It.Down. So in love !!!!!
